A lot of DC Comics fans and the movies which have been released in the last few years yesterday mourned the end of Henry Cavill’s era as Superman.
This news was confirmed by James Gunn and the actor himself, both of whom let it be known that plans changed once the filmmaker assumed the leadership of DC Studios.
Nevertheless, it’s time for new things and a company has come to the rescue of Henry Cavill by seducing him with one of his passions.
Henry Cavill Will Star in Warhammer Series
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Henry Cavill’s sorrow may be healed by Amazon as the company is about to close a deal to make a series of Warhammer, the popular strategy game, with the actor as the main character and executive producer.

This news has come as a surprise as a few hours ago people were expressing regret over the situation of Cavill who left his role as Geralt of Rivia in Netflix’s The Witcher to be called as Superman, but the change of plans resulted in him being left without the 2 protagonist roles.
Amazon has been competing and currently in negotiations with Games Workshop, the company which owns Warhammer, for months, according to the report, since it was not the only company keen on getting the rights for productions outside of video games.
The news could be the light at the end of the tunnel for Henry Cavill, as he has often shown his passion for Warhammer and never misses an opportunity to tell the world about the game, its universe and all that is in it.
