Was anyone actually surprised? We basically know nothing about the game, and it has been more than six months since the last trailer.
The developers from Embark Studios are apparently working up a sweat, if they don’t even have time to praise the game or relase some new trailers.
We last heard about the title at The Game Awards 2021, as recently as last December. Then we got the first concrete footage of the game, which looked surprisingly good. It may have been a bit generic, but nevertheless the atmosphere of early space conquest could be felt from the first seconds of the trailer.
On top of that, graphics, vigorous combat, large robots and beautiful stretches of space terrain… what would you want more?
Surely the release of the game, but this one, though, is not coming so soon. We might have guessed it, but the creators have decided to postpone the debut of their production to 2023. This makes sense, obviously, particularly since we actually didn’t know too much about the title.
The Arc Raiders is an ambitious game, and we’ll use the extra time to expand the experience and allow it to reach its full potential. We will be going into more detail as soon as we start testing the game on a wider scale with players.
