The Until Dawn movie is being made by Sony Pictures. It has been in development since 2015, when the interactive game first came out. In the game, a group of young people get trapped in a remote mountain lodge. They have to try escaping while being hunted by a mysterious killer. Players could make choices that impacted what happened in the story. This gave fans control over how gory their experience became.
Sandberg’s post on Instagram showed a clapperboard stained with fake blood. The director’s reflection in a mirror covered in fake gore could also be seen.
