There have long been rumors about the Xbox Game Pass family plan, and in the last few days there have been more credible leaks. Today, the Game Pass Friends & Family has been officially confirmed.
Up to five people can take advantage of the family plan, and they will gain all the benefits of Game Pass Ultimate, including access to Xbox console and PC games, cloud gaming and EA Play subscription titles.
This service has so far been launched in Ireland, where it costs €21.99, and in Colombia, where gamers will pay 49,900 pesos.
A single person manages the account and that person is responsible for paying for the subscription. Only that person can also add other members to the group – a maximum of four.
Most importantly, only players from the same region are allowed to be invited to the group, and members can not share Game Pass with other accounts on their console.
Buying the family plan when we still have an active Game Pass or Gold subscription will also convert our previous plan to a higher version.

The Xbox Game Pass family plan is not yet available in the United States. Microsoft has also not given a planned launch date for the service in our country, but has said that it will gradually be expanded to other regions.
