The cooperation between Hideo Kojima and Microsoft has taken an exciting turn as the Xbox Game Studios Publishing team recently paid a visit to Kojima Productions’ new studio.

The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere, as evidenced by the photos shared online. Kojima even received a stylish sweatshirt with the green logos of both companies, making it clear that the collaboration between the two is on solid ground.

We also got a glimpse of the food served during the meeting, and a short video was shared, giving internet users a peek into Kojima Productions’ cosmic studio.

Hideo Kojima has a close relationship with Microsoft, as he acknowledged last year, stating that the American corporation understands that visionary projects require extensive technological facilities.

Thus, the developer started a partnership with Microsoft to create an undisclosed project that is said to be a horror film called Overdose, featuring actress Margaret Qualley. In November, the first gameplay footage of the project leaked online, but it was quickly removed.

Despite the partnership with Microsoft, Kojima intends to maintain his studio’s independence and reject any offers to purchase it.

The developer believes that full autonomy is crucial to his creative process. Currently, he is also working on a sequel to Death Stranding, which will be exclusive to PlayStation 5.

The collaboration between Xbox and Kojima Productions is sure to excite gamers and fans of the acclaimed developer’s work.

With Microsoft’s technological expertise and Kojima’s innovative ideas, the project promises to be a thrilling addition to the gaming world.
