Techland, the developers behind the popular horror survival game, Dying Light, are already looking ahead to the next installment of the series.
While no official announcement has been made, Tymon Smektała, the lead game designer at Techland, took to Twitter to ask fans who they would like to see as the protagonist in Dying Light 3.
In the survey shared by Smektała, fans were given four options: a regular survivor, a nightrunner, a Pilgrim, and a GRE agent who decided to switch to the “good” side.
Smektała made it clear that the survey was not an official announcement, but rather an opportunity for the developers to gather feedback from the community.

The results of the survey showed that nearly half of the voters (42.8%) would like to play as a GRE agent who decided to switch to the “good” side. In second place (with a score of 33.7%) was the “ordinary survivor”, followed by the nightrunner. The Pilgrim was the least popular option.
While the survey is not binding, it is clear that Techland values the opinion of its fanbase. The results may help the developers shape the direction of the game as they continue to work on Dying Light 3. Fans can rest assured that Techland is taking their opinions into account.
