Beamdog’s highly anticipated cartoon roguelike, MythForce, finally has an official release date. After being available in Early Access on the Epic Games Store since last year, the game will officially launch on September 12th across various platforms, including PlayStation and Xbox consoles, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, Epic).

MythForce offers a whimsical and captivating four-player first-person shooter (FPS) roguelike experience, drawing inspiration from beloved ’80s cartoons.

Players will dive into a fantastical realm, assuming the roles of four unique characters: Victoria, the valiant Knight; Rico, the charming Rogue; Maggie, the wise Mage; and Hawkins, the deadly Hunter.

With the upcoming 1.0 launch, players can look forward to an expanded gameplay experience. While the Early Access version only featured one story episode, the official release will include three engaging episodes. Additionally, the progression system has undergone a significant overhaul, providing enhanced depth and rewards for players.

Unleash the Fun with Online Co-op

MythForce is designed to be enjoyed with friends. The full release will introduce drop-in, drop-out functionality for online co-op, allowing players to seamlessly join and leave the adventure as desired. Rally your companions, strategize together, and explore the vibrant world of MythForce in this thrilling multiplayer experience.

Initial impressions of MythForce’s gameplay were met with mixed reviews, despite its visually striking aesthetics. However, with the full release approaching, fans eagerly await improvements and refinements that the developers have been working on.
