Diablo IV enthusiasts have an exciting reason to look forward to the start of Season 2, which kicks off on October 17. Alongside the new season, Blizzard is introducing a fresh wave of Twitch Drops, allowing players to snag free in-game rewards to enhance their gaming experience while battling the vampire hordes in this action-packed ARPG.
Much like the initial round of Twitch Drops that followed the game’s launch, earning Season 2’s Twitch Drops requires players to connect their Twitch account with their Battle.net account and dedicate four hours to watching Diablo IV content on a channel that supports Drops each week.
The Twitch Drops are spread across four weeks, and they offer a variety of cosmetic weapons tailored to the game’s different classes. Below is the comprehensive schedule of Diablo IV Season 2 Twitch Drops:
Diablo IV Season 2 Twitch Drops Schedule:
- October 17-24: Orichalcum Blade (Necromancer, Rogue, Sorcerer)
- October 24-31: Orichalcum Mallet (Barbarian, Druid)
- October 31-November 6: Orichalcum Greatsword (Barbarian, Necromancer)
- November 6-13: Orichalcum Quarterstaff (Druid)
It’s worth noting that players don’t have to stick to the same channel to accumulate their required viewing hours. However, once earned, players will need to manually claim the Drops for them to appear in the game.
These Drops are available to anyone, even those who don’t own a copy of Diablo IV, but they will expire after seven days if earned on a Twitch account that isn’t linked to a Battle.net account.
Additionally, as the vampire-themed Season of Blood unfolds, Diablo IV will make its debut on Steam, marking the second Blizzard game to join Valve’s popular PC gaming platform alongside Overwatch 2.
Season 2 of Diablo IV introduces significant changes, reducing the endgame grind, rebalancing classes, monsters, and damage systems, and introducing new seasonal mechanics like Vampiric Powers to keep the gaming experience fresh and captivating.
