Godzilla Minus One, the epic Japanese monster flick that wowed audiences worldwide, is finally coming to our homes. You can preorder the super cool Collector’s Edition Blu-ray now!

This movie did amazingly well. It won the Oscar for best special effects, became the highest grossing foreign film in the US in over 20 years, and made more money there than any other Japanese live-action movie ever. Pretty sweet, right?

The Collector’s Edition has all sorts of neat extras. It’s got the original version and a black and white cut too. Plus you get a booklet and a compilation of “disaster response materials” – I think that means plans for dealing with Godzilla attacks! Coolest of all, the menus are in English so anyone can enjoy it.

The film tells the story of a pilot named Kōichi who has to face off against the giant lizard Godzilla. With amazing monster battles and a moving human story, director Takashi Yamazaki totally nailed it. He worked on it for three years to get it just right. You can definitely see how much care went into it.

All that hard work paid off big time. So if you’re jonesing to experience this genre-redefining movie or want to own a piece of cinematic history, you’ll want to order the “Godzilla Minus One” Collector’s Edition Blu-ray. It’s sure to be a highlight of any monster movie fan’s DVD collection when it ships this coming September. Mark your calendars – this release is not to be missed!
