The Syfy and USA Networks have canceled the television series adaptation of the popular horror franchise “Child’s Play” after three seasons. Known as “Chucky,” the show had gained a loyal fan following since its debut but will conclude with many plotlines left unresolved.
Don Mancini, the creator of the “Child’s Play” films and driving creative force behind the TV series, expressed his disappointment publicly. However, he hinted that this may not be the end for the murderous doll, cryptically stating “HE’LL BE BACK.” Jennifer Tilly, a core part of the franchise since 1998’s “Bride of Chucky” took to social media to reassure fans, saying that resurrections are a specialty of Chucky and there are many left.

Actor Devon Sawa, who played multiple contrasting characters throughout the show’s run, reflected on his experience. “This series was some of the most fun I’ve ever had shooting,” he wrote on social media. While sad it is ending, he seemed excited at the prospect of future installments.
Fiona Dourif, daughter of Brad Dourif who voiced Chucky, called her time on the series a “dream” and expressed gratitude for being involved. Younger star Zackary Arthur used Instagram to thank supporters, emphasizing how the show impacted his career.
