Twitter Is Now Shutting Down the Majority of Its Offices

What are you doing to Twitter Mr Musk?

Twitter seems to be crumbling like a sand castle in the last few weeks. That’s at least the image it projects to all those who closely follow its news. The Blue House closed several of its offices after some employees resigned en masse.

Elon Musk abruptly shut down the Twitter offices as employees resigned en masse. In fact, this was to be expected, considering the increasing number of executives who left their positions in the last few weeks. The office closure is certainly a precursor to a future decision to restructure the company.

Another dramatic step according to a Twitter employee

On Thursday, Mr. Elon Musk abruptly closed some of the company’s offices amidst a massive resignation. In fact, many employees were asked by the new boss to leave the premises.

Visibly, the fantastic boss of Space X seems to be following a “hardcore” policy after declaring his intention to work only with the most enduring.

This view of Elon Musk has not failed to lengthen the list of unhappy people since his takeover of Twitter.

At present, less than half of the remaining Twitter employees are estimated to have bought into Elon Musk’s “hardcore” vision.

However, in addition to the dissatisfaction that some employees have expressed towards the new CEO’s methods, the reaction of the management is what is questionable.

Elon Musk

In fact, the company’s managers did not hesitate to let the employees to know that all the buildings were temporarily closed, with immediate effect. Two individuals familiar with the company’s actions confirmed this information to Insider.

A current employee also pointed out that the closure of the offices by the company’s management was mostly a dramatic measure.

Indeed, she said it was aimed at “preventing any physical sabotage” that could happen while they settle the issue of access revocations.

It should be noted that this wave of office closures came about an hour after Musk’s deadline for Twitter employees to officially sign on to his new “hardcore” company plans.

The “Twitter 2.0” ready to move forward with a smaller workforce

With departures related to the resignation of some and the firing of others, staffing levels in various departments have shrunk considerably.

At present, fewer than 50 percent of the staff, about 4,000 people, are signed up to work on Musk’s “Twitter 2.0.” But, this does not seem to scare the new social media strongman too much, as he is installing a real dictatorship.

In fact, although few people have agreed to his offer, Musk and other top executives are trying to personally convince “essential” members to stay in the ranks.

But it is clearly having trouble winning them over. In a recent meeting, some of the staff who participated via video conference immediately hung up when the clock struck 5:00 p.m.

Until the businessman manages to really stabilize the company and instill a wind of serenity among his troops, there is a good chance that many will desert in the coming days. The story continues to hold us in suspense.
