The highly anticipated sequel to Joker is currently in production, and new set photos have surfaced featuring Lady Gaga in full Harley Quinn attire.
In a departure from the first film, this latest image showcases a new incarnation of the famous comic book villainess, potentially with makeup that reflects her trademark look.
Moreover, the photos also suggest the appearance of Harvey Dent, also known as Two-Face, portrayed by Aaron Eckhart in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight. This could mean that the sequel would introduce a new antagonist to the story.
Director Todd Phillips had previously shared a behind-the-scenes image of Lady Gaga in her Harley Quinn costume, but it was the character’s “original” version before she left her job at the Arkham plant.

Fans have eagerly awaited a glimpse of the new version of the villainess, and these latest set photos could not come soon enough.
Joker: Folie à Deux began filming in December 2022, and stars Joaquin Phoenix as the titular character, Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn, Brendan Gleeson, and Jacob Lofland. Phillips is back at the helm, writing the screenplay and directing.
The first Joker film was a massive hit, winning two Academy Awards and grossing over $1 billion at the box office.

While plot details about the sequel remain scarce, it has been confirmed that Arkham Asylum will play an integral part, where the Joker and Harley Quinn are expected to meet again.
The release date for Joker: Folie à Deux is set for October 4, 2024, and fans can expect more updates and teasers as the film’s production continues.
