As Netflix wants to prepare the audience for Resident Evil, it has released a short clip from the series which gives a glimpse of the main character. In this case, Ella Balinska has the opportunity to face a large horde of zombies.
More and more, Netflix is focusing on productions in growing worlds, and “Resident Evil” is set to be the latest offering from the streaming giant, which is fighting for the interest of a wide audience. It is expected that the series will appeal to more than just fans of the Capcom-created game franchise.
The company has published the first clip from “Resident Evil,” in which Ella Balinska, who plays Albert Wesker’s daughter, discovers that she’s been rescued but won’t be able to escape the place anytime soon. Of course, the problem is the zombies – the beasts have surrounded the city.
It is the first time in such detail that the footage shows the creatures from the series of the Netflix platform. While the company has already released a trailer, there is so much going on in the footage shown that it was difficult to concentrate on the iconic creatures associated with this particular IP.
We should remember that Lance Reddick recently acknowledged in an interview that he didn’t know about the existence of the Capcom games before working on the Resident Evil series. Indeed, the actor only knew about the movies that are connected to the universe.
