InFamous is considered one of the most interesting series from PlayStation consoles, which, regrettably, somehow died somewhere along the way. “One” and “Two” were not in any way groundbreaking, but they delivered a lot of fun and featured an interesting universe. Excellent open world gameplay were somewhat like a “sweetened” version of Prototype.
In the wake of InFamous: Second Son, the series also did not gain even more praise. Nevertheless, it’s still a great launch title for the PS4, which demonstrated the power of that console.
Now with the dominance of the PS5, we are hoping for further development of the series. However, unfortunately, the recent news on the matter was not optimistic.
That said, PS4 and PS5 owners can still play all these games anyway. Now, PlayStation has prepared quite a treat for them – the feature-length DLC “Cole’s Legacy,” which has been available so far for a fee or as a freebie for pre-orders.
The story of the DLC is set between “Two” and “Second Son” and shows the events that culminated in the main plot axis presented in Second Son.
When the story is completed, you will also get the iconic jacket of the main character of the previous parts! To receive the DLC, all you have to do is head to the PS Store and assign the product to your account. To fire it up, however, the base game is required. Enjoy the new DLC!
