The GRID Legends has been announced as a surprise addition for Meta Quest 2, and it appears that the release date is imminent: the racing game developed by Codemasters is to be available on the standalone VR headset starting January 12.
Welcomed by the international press with very mixed reviews, GRID Legends provides a traditional racing experience, but marked by the solidity that generally characterizes the productions of the British team and this franchise in particular.
Moreover, the pack will not be reduced for its debut on Meta Quest 2: the game will come with all its content and mechanics, including Driven to Glory single player story mode, Race Creator event editor, as well as multiplayer modes.
Obviously such comprehensiveness requires quite a bit of available space, in this case 31.1 GB, while the price on pre-order on Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest Pro is only $26.99.
It remains to be seen if we will also see GRID Legends on PC and PS5 VR headsets any time soon; it could be a great redemption opportunity for the racer.
