The Hi-Fi Rush update 9 patch notes detail a range of fixes, including collision issues, camera problems, cutscene glitches, and text bugs. One notable fix addresses a collision issue during the QA-1MIL boss fight, where players would fall out of the geometry after reducing the boss’s health to zero. Chai, the game’s protagonist, will now properly fall to the ground instead of plummeting into the abyss.
Other fixes include resolving issues with Macaron’s Gravity Well ability during rhythm parrying, ensuring cutscenes play correctly when using health tanks against the HG-0G boss, and correcting discrepancies between spoken dialogue and on-screen text during the “Dodge Attack” tutorial on PlayStation 5.
Across all platforms, the update also addresses various text bugs and adjusts drink prices in Vandelay vending machines to reflect local currency conversions.
While Update 9 marks the end of active development for Hi-Fi Rush, Tango Gameworks has confirmed that plans for a physical edition of the game are still in the works with Limited Run Games.
