This week there will be no shortage of attractive series premieres. Whereas “Vikings: Valhalla” is returning on Netflix, “Welcome to Chippendales” is debuting on HuluDisney+. So what else is worth keeping an eye on? Stay tuned as we are going to introduce all the tv series premiering this week.

Koala Man (new from Hulu) – January 9 on Disney+

“Koala Man” is the new animation from the Hulu platform telling the story of Kevin – the middle-aged man who fights evil in the suburbs of the Australian town of Dapto after hours as the titular superhero.

Among the cast are Michael Cusack, Hugh Jackman, Sarah Snook, Jemaine Clement and Demi Lardner, the film makers are Justin Roiland (“Rick and Morty”) and Michael Cusack.

Welcome to the Chippendales (Hulu series) – January 11 on Disney+

“Welcome to Chippendales” tells the story of the famous male striptease empire and its “most unlikely founder,” Somen “Steve” Banerjee (Kumail Nanjiani, “Silicon Valley”), an American who hails from India.

In detail, the series will tell “the crazy, dark, comical crime saga behind a unique male revue that has become a cultural phenomenon.” And how it all began to unravel when the mysterious murder of chief choreographer Nick De Noi (Murray Bartlett, “White Lotus”) occurred.

Also in the cast are Annaleigh Ashford (“B Positive”), Juliette Lewis (“Yellowjackets”), Andrew Rannells (“Girls5va”) and Dan Stevens (“Legion”), creator Robert Siegel (“Pam & Tommy”), among others.

Sexify (season 2) – January 11 on Netflix

In Season 2 of the Polish series “Sexify,” we’ll see how three young female entrepreneurs – Natalia (Aleksandra Skraba), Paulina (Maria Sobocinska) and Monika (Sandra Drzymalska) – have to find the golden mean between their tumultuous personal lives, tough competition and a demanding investor, while their start-up’s future hangs in the balance.

Izabela Kuna (“Family Games,” “Planet of the Singles: Eight Stories”) will appear as the investor, and besides her, Dobromir Dymecki and Nikodem Rozbicki will join the cast.

Vikings: Valhalla (season 2) – January 12 on Netflix

“Vikings: Walhalla” is back with Season 2, which will again feature our good friends Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), Freydis (Frida Gustavsson) as well as Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter).

Events in Kattegat destroyed their dreams and changed their fates, but didn’t take away their fighting spirit. The trio of main characters will need to test their mettle in completely unfamiliar territory and forge new alliances.

The new episodes will also bring Kievan Rus into play, and Marcin Dorocinski will debut in the role of the local grand prince, Yaroslav the Wise.

Hunters (season 2) – January 13 on Prime Video

“Hunters” is back with its second and final season. Its action will take place in 1979, though there will also be a second timeline, allowing Al Pacino to return as Meyer Offerman.

The series’ creator David Weil promises that Season 2 will fulfill its promise and bring viewers catharsis. Joining the cast are Jennifer Jason Leigh (“Atypical”), Tommy Martinez (“Good Trouble”) and Emily Rudd (“Dynasty”). Hitler is played by German actor Udo Kier (“Swan Song”).
