In a surprising turn of events, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, the much-anticipated digital expansion, was briefly spotted in the GOG Galaxy catalog. This unexpected sighting gave fans a glimpse into the possible price tag for this eagerly awaited game.
Even though the game was promptly removed from the store, a sharp-eyed internet user was quick enough to capture a screenshot, later shared on Reddit. The image, taken from the German version of the platform, suggested that Phantom Liberty might debut at a price point of EUR 29.99.

The speculated price seems quite fair, particularly when compared to the breadth and depth of CD Projekt Red’s previous extensions. Fans can likely expect to pay slightly more than they did for earlier add-ons like Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.
A Coincidental Leak or Planned Surprise?
The timing of the game’s unexpected leak today is thought by some to be more than mere coincidence. The Summer Game Fest show, featuring Phantom Liberty as a major highlight, is just hours away.
It’s plausible that the commencement of pre-orders was scheduled for the evening, leading to this apparent oversight. This could also signify that CD Projekt Red is preparing to announce the official release date.
Phantom Liberty: A Singular Expansion for Cyberpunk 2077
As a reminder for fans, Phantom Liberty is the first—and last—story expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, excluding devices from older generations.
Adam Kiciński, president of CD Projekt, hinted at the expansion’s progress during an investor chat in March, stating, “The work is nearing completion; the addition is large and complex. We really want it to be refined. We are not considering any other release date than this year.”
As anticipation builds for the Summer Game Fest, gamers worldwide are eagerly awaiting more details on Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.
