Rev your engines and mark your calendars because The Crew Motorfest is gearing up to deliver an exhilarating racing experience. Set in the picturesque backdrop of O’ahu, Hawaii, this open-world racer is packed with a wide variety of street, track, and off-road races that revolve around a vibrant festival atmosphere.
Drawing comparisons to the acclaimed Forza Horizon series, The Crew Motorfest embraces the spirit of exploration and excitement that racing enthusiasts crave. During the recent Ubisoft Forward event, fans were treated to enticing trailers and the official release date: September 14th.
A Diverse and Thrilling World of Racing
The Crew Motorfest promises a vast playground for speed enthusiasts, offering a plethora of vehicles to satisfy every racing desire. From supercars to drift cars, Formula 1 cars to dirt bikes, and 4x4s to quad bikes, there are “hundreds of vehicles” to choose from, all meticulously licensed from renowned manufacturers.
Whether you’re a car aficionado or simply love the thrill of high-octane races, The Crew Motorfest’s diverse roster of vehicles is sure to impress. Even the iconic VW camper van makes an appearance, adding a touch of nostalgia and charm to the race tracks.
Evolution from The Crew Series
While drawing comparisons to Forza Horizon, it’s important to note the evolution of The Crew series. The previous installments, The Crew 1 and 2, also offered open-world racing with licensed cars, albeit without the festival structure and set in different locations across the United States mainland.
The online play in The Crew 2 had some initial hiccups on PC, and the handling model received mixed reviews. However, both games managed to provide an enjoyable road trip experience once the issues were addressed.
Improved Gameplay and Features
With the forthcoming release of The Crew Motorfest, Ubisoft aims to refine and enhance the gameplay experience. While specific details are yet to be revealed, fans can expect improved online features, smoother performance, and enhanced handling mechanics.
Ubisoft Connect will be the primary platform for the game’s availability at launch, but further information regarding other stores is currently unknown. Excitingly, a closed beta is planned for the coming month, and interested players can register now for a chance to get a taste of the action.
