While many details about Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 are known by now, thanks to information released by Activision itself and the by now countless leaks that have filled social media for the past few days, DMZ mode remains a mystery. A recent leaker who is a stream of information provides us with a few more details about this mode.
Reality is the nickname of the most active leaker of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. He has leaked a series of screenshots taken from the mode of the shooter in the last few hours, which, according to rumors, will provide a style of play very similar to that seen in Escape From Tarkov and the more recent The Cycle Frontier.
The screenshots are, unfortunately, in very low resolution. The details of the screenshots cannot be seen in the files, which would appear to show the map, inventory, and a soldier about to interact with what appears to be a wall full of documents, possibly related to the central hub.
Although the images are almost entirely indecipherable, the leaker’s trustworthiness allows us to have a confirmation of the existence of this mode. We cannot rule out that more details regarding its details regarding its dynamics may be forthcoming soon. In the meantime, Tom Henderson has stated that COD Modern Warfare 2’s DMZ mode will not be free-to-play.
