As fans eagerly await the release of Baldur’s Gate 3, Larian Studios has a treat in store. Prior to the launch in August, they have introduced an intriguing online murder-mystery RPG called Blood in Baldur’s Gate.

This immersive experience takes place 15 years before the events of Baldur’s Gate 3, immersing players in a captivating storyline set in the beloved city.

In Blood in Baldur’s Gate, the city finds itself plagued by a series of gruesome murders. With only sparse clues to guide them, players must investigate the crimes and unravel the mysteries behind the killings.

The goal is to piece together the puzzle, understanding the how and why of these heinous acts before the culprit strikes again.

Explore and Decide Through Democratic Means

To progress in the investigation, players can explore different areas of the map. The path forward is determined through a democratic voting system, allowing players to theorize, discuss, and collectively decide on the next course of action.

While only a few areas have been unlocked thus far, the possibilities are vast. This unique approach encourages player engagement and collaboration, creating an interactive experience that adds depth to the murder mystery.
