Jennifer Garner thought her visit to San Diego Comic-Con was going to be all about promoting her new Marvel movie. But things didn’t exactly go according to plan! The actress, famous for playing Elektra in movies like Daredevil, got stuck in an elevator for over an hour on her way to the big convention.
Instead of panicking, Jennifer decided to document the whole thing on Instagram. “Hey guys, we’re stuck in this elevator,” she told her followers with a laugh after just a few minutes. “I could really use Wolverine or Deadpool to bust us out of here!” As time passed, she filmed the group getting more and more stir-crazy. Jennifer even quoted lines from The Office and Brooklyn Nine-Nine to keep their spirits up.
After singing songs together to pass the time, firefighters finally opened the doors after over an hour. Jennifer stayed so calm the whole time. Famous friends like Gwyneth Paltrow couldn’t believe how cool and collected she was!
Despite the rocky start, Jennifer’s visit to Comic-Con was still successful. She was there to talk about her newest role in Deadpool & Wolverine, where she plays the superpowered Elektra again. In the movie, she even jokes about her old Daredevil film.
Getting stuck in an elevator is probably not how Jennifer planned to spend her first Comic-Con. But with her funny Instagram videos and ability to laugh at herself, she showed fans why she’s so popular. Her mishap just proves that even superhero adventures don’t always go according to plan!
