Tyler Henry, a well-known psychic medium, will debut his new live series on Netflix this week. “Live from the Beyond with Tyler Henry” premieres on Tuesday with one-hour episodes airing every week. In the show, Henry will conduct readings live for both celebrities and regular people in an effort to connect them with departed loved ones from the afterlife.

Through this format, Henry hopes to give viewers an unedited look at his work as a medium. He says the live aspect can offer a “more well-rounded experience” by showing nuances that may be lost when segments are heavily edited for time. Henry will try to provide readings and messages to guests in real-time over the eight weeks without any post-production changes.

Netflix’s decision to broadcast the series live each Tuesday reflects their growing interest in live streaming content. Henry acknowledges feeling some nerves about the live component but sees it as an opportunity for self-improvement. He wants the transparency of the format to help people understand his process and potentially overcome doubts about communicating with the deceased.

Along with celebrity guests, the show plans to include regular viewers receiving readings to showcase relatable, emotional moments across different backgrounds. Henry’s goal is to advance the discussion around grief and continuing bonds with loved ones who have passed away. Whether the live setting convinces skeptics of his abilities remains unclear, but Henry is prepared to take on the challenge of demonstrating his craft in real time each week to viewers around the world.
