One Piece Live-Action Taps Awdo Awdo And Daisy Head As Season 3 Villains

Netflix’s live-action One Piece has added two key antagonists for its third season, casting Awdo Awdo as Mr. 1 and Daisy Head as Miss Doublefinger. The pair will appear as recurring guest stars, joining the Straw Hat Pirates’ next round of foes as the series moves into the Alabasta section of Eiichiro Oda’s long-running manga.

The new casting continues a rapid build-out of Season 3, which is already filming in Cape Town, South Africa after an early renewal announced during a franchise event in Tokyo. The season follows the upcoming One Piece: Into the Grand Line, with Season 2 scheduled to arrive on March 10, 2026.

Awdo Awdo is a relative newcomer, highlighted in Netflix materials for his work on the forthcoming project Subversion. Head arrives with experience in fantasy adventure, having appeared in series and films such as Shadow and Bone and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. Their characters, Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger, are high-ranking agents in the Baroque Works criminal syndicate, which plays a central role in the Alabasta storyline that pits Luffy’s crew against a sprawling conspiracy in a desert kingdom.

The third season’s villain roster fits into a wider expansion of the ensemble. Previously announced additions include Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace and Cole Escola as Bon Clay, while Season 2 newcomers Charithra Chandran (Miss Wednesday), Mikaela Hoover (Tony Tony Chopper), Joe Manganiello (Mr. 0), Lera Abova (Miss All Sunday) and Sendhil Ramamurthy (Nefertari Cobra) are set to return, with several promoted to series regular status. Showrunners Joe Tracz and Ian Stokes oversee Season 3, continuing a production partnership that includes Tomorrow Studios and creator Eiichiro Oda among its executive producers.

The core Straw Hat cast of Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero and Taz Skylar remains in place for the new episodes, reflecting the streamer’s commitment to a long-term adaptation that tracks closely with major arcs from the source material. Early reactions on fan forums and social media have welcomed the casting of the Baroque Works agents, with many viewers reading the announcement as confirmation that the live-action series intends to give the Alabasta saga comparable weight to its animated counterpart.
