The Death Stranding 2 project is almost certainly the next game from the acclaimed Japanese designer. The project has been in the news for some time, and further clues only add credibility to the previous ones.
Everyone who is even slightly familiar with Kojima’s relationship with Geoff Keighley, who is organizing The Game Awards 2022, is aware that Kojima will present something at the event. Let it be that we at least hope so, but it’s becoming more and more certain.
Designer currently may be working on a couple of games, one of them being Project Overdose, a horror game being developed for the Xbox, though we don’t know the details. Recently a gameplay of the game leaked online, which will likely make its way in some form to… Mobile devices.
The other item almost certainly is the second part of Death Stranding. An interesting image recently appeared on Kojima’s Twitter account suggesting that we will see at least DS2 at TGA 2022.

In fact, the renowned developer uploaded an image with the necessary (it seems) logos. These practically immediately associate with the world after the “ascension.”
First logo shows a company called “Automated Public Assistance Company,” the second one is two bridges (Bridges…) familiar from earlier releases, while the third one shows something looking like an octopus-like creature with spears stuck in it.
This is quite reminiscent of the bosses from the first installment, who had some Lovecraft influences in them. The picture also has a short caption. “Let’s start a new adventure,” reads the description, and Geoff Keighley reacted to the whole thing.
A host of the upcoming TGA uploaded a gif suggesting that we’ll hear more about the project just at the event. TGA 2022 will kick off on December 9, and at the gala we can count on a chance to win a Steam Deck. One of around 200.
