Ubisoft’s recent cryptic announcements have finally been revealed to the public. The French video game developer has announced the highly anticipated release of The Crew Motorfest.
This new addition to the popular racing franchise from Ivory Tower is set to be launched in 2023 on multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, as well as on Amazon Luna streaming platform and Ubisoft+ subscription service.
The official trailer of the game, along with its release date, has been published by the company, generating much excitement among fans of the franchise.
The Crew Motorfest promises to deliver an adrenaline-fueled racing experience set in an open-world environment. The game promises to offer players the most action-packed racing adventure in franchise history, drawing heavily from the series’ heritage.
In this new installment, players will get to experience the beauty and excitement of racing through the streets of Honolulu, down the slopes of a volcanic mountain, through dense jungles, along winding mountain roads, or on a sunny beach.
The action will take place on the island of O’ahu, located in the Hawaiian archipelago, and players will have the option to race solo or as part of a crew, behind the wheel of hundreds of legendary vehicles.
Ubisoft has also announced that members of the Insider program will have the opportunity to test the game starting tomorrow. Those interested in joining the group of testers can register through the company’s website.
It’s worth mentioning that The Crew franchise has a long history of popularity, with the first game in the series being released in 2014 and the second installment following in 2018.
