PlayStation’s official blog has published a list of the most downloaded games from the PlayStation Store in August 2022. As it turns out, Saints Row enjoyed great popularity among PlayStation 5 gamers, coming in first place in Europe and ranking second in the United States and Canada.
Across the Old Continent, the remaining podium spots belonged to Grand Theft Auto V and Cult of the Lamb. Meanwhile, Madden NFL 23 turned out to be unbeatable in North America, and third place was taken by the aforementioned Rockstar production.
Meanwhile, sports games ruled among PlayStation 4 users last month. It was FIFA 22 in Europe, and in the United States and Canada the aforementioned Madden NFL 23.
In both continents, however, the remaining places on the podium were occupied by Minecraft and the latest installment of the Grand Theft Auto series.
Among the most downloaded PlayStation VR games in August 2022 was again Beat Saber, while the most popular free-to-play game in both the US/Canada and Europe was MultiVersus, which is a new brawler starring Warner Bros. characters.
