The details on the date and time of the preload and server opening of Call of Duty Warzone 2.0, which is the new free-to-play battle royale instalment, have finally been announced.
In view of the continued success of the second installment of Modern Warfare, it is hardly surprising that the COD series has been able to find the boost it was looking for.
Therefore, Activision Blizzard today announced the official dates and times of the pre-load and server opening of Call of Duty Warzone 2.0, which is planned for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and Xbox One.
As per the U.S. publisher’s statement via its official website, Warzone 2 preloads are scheduled to be active two days before the game’s official launch, namely from 10 AM PT on Monday, Nov. 14, 2022.
More than that, the opening of the servers which will actually signal the start of Season 1 is planned instead for 10 AM PT on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.
However, the always knowledgeable Tom Henderson has reported that the servers may be opening half an hour earlier, namely at 9.30 AM PT, although as of now there is nothing official.
We would like to remind you that the new release of Activision’s free-to-play shooter is going to revolve around the Al Mazrah map, a city in the Republic of Adal, which is characterized by 18 major points of interest in which clashes with various enemies can be staged.
Below are the various subsections that are confirmed so far:
- Al Bagra Fortress (Core Map)
- Embassy (Core Map)
- Zarqwa Hydroelectric (Core Map)
- Taraq (both Core and Battle Map)
- Sariff Bay (Battle Map)
- Sa’id (Battle Map)
