Yesterday, we reported on the possibility of Cyberpunk 2077 receiving a patch based on the modification in the Steam database entry dedicated to the game. As it turns out, our suspicions were confirmed and the update was indeed released today. So, what exactly has changed with this new patch?
The patch, which is currently available on PC, focuses mainly on introducing support for two Nvidia technologies – Nvidia DLSS 3 and Nvidia Reflex – for devices that are capable of utilizing these features. Additionally, the official Twitter profile of Cyberpunk 2077 posted a reminder for players who launch the game via GOG Galaxy to update the application in advance if they haven’t already done so.
It’s important to note that this patch does not bring any new content to the game and is mainly aimed at improving the overall performance and graphics for those with compatible Nvidia devices.
So, for those who were hoping for new story missions or characters, you may have to wait a bit longer. But for those who just want a smoother and more visually stunning gaming experience, this new patch should be a welcome addition.
