Hideo Kojima, the renowned game designer and the mind behind Kojima Productions, has recently offered insights into the development progress of the highly anticipated sequel to Death Stranding.
Alongside this, he has also been working on another enigmatic project titled OD. These updates, shared on Kojima’s Twitter, reveal the multifaceted endeavors of his studio and hint at the rich tapestry of storytelling and innovation that fans can expect.

The next phase involves recording Japanese voice-overs, an essential element given the game’s global audience. While an official release date remains unannounced, Kojima’s reference to “another year of development” suggests that a 2025 release could be likely.

Kojima’s collaboration with filmmaker Jordan Peele and the release of a cryptic teaser trailer have only heightened the intrigue surrounding this project. However, like Death Stranding 2, its release date is still under wraps.
