The new settings will offer players a range of options to customize their gameplay experience. They will be able to tweak the difficulty of the fights, regulate the yield of resources, and choose how they are punished in case of death.
There will even be a hardcore mode for the most daring players, where they stand to lose everything they own, including their skills.
The number of monster attacks on the settlement can also be set, and raids can be turned off completely for players who are interested in focusing more on building.
With these new settings, even players who may have shied away from the survival aspect of the game can now enjoy Valheim as a building game.
In addition, players will have the option to deactivate the map and the portals, switch off construction costs, and even set opponents to “passive”. What’s more, these settings can be changed at any time, even in worlds that have already been created.
While there is no official release date for the update, Valheim fans can look forward to the enhanced gameplay experience that the new difficulty settings promise to offer.
