Nintendo has been building up excitement for its latest Switch exclusive, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, set to release on May 12.

The new trailer showcases exclusive footage of the game, giving fans a glimpse of previously unseen images of beloved characters Zelda, Link, and the Master Sword.

Titled “Dive into the unknown,” the trailer offers a tantalizing one-minute preview of the game, revealing exciting new details and secrets not seen before.

Fans have been speculating about the return of traditional dungeons and new ways of distracting enemies, as hinted at in the trailer.

One of the most notable changes is that Link has his hair in a ponytail and both of his arms, a departure from his appearance in Breath of the Wild.

As some fans have pointed out, this new footage seems to be from the beginning of the game, where Link decides to pick up the Master Sword again before going underground.

The Japanese page for Tears of the Kingdom has also added three new videos featuring previously unseen details about the game. Additionally, new Amiibo figures and other exciting features may be on the horizon.

Nintendo’s decision to release this new footage has left fans eagerly anticipating the game’s release. Some have taken to social media to express their excitement, while others have speculated about what other surprises the game might hold.

The Legend of Zelda

Interestingly, Tears of the Kingdom appears to be improving upon some of the problematic aspects of its predecessor, Breath of the Wild.

While it’s hard to appreciate these improvements fully from the new trailer alone, fans are already buzzing about what else the game might have in store.

As the release date approaches, fans of the series can hardly wait to get their hands on this highly anticipated title. With exclusive footage like this, it’s no wonder Nintendo fans are among the most loyal and enthusiastic in the gaming world.
